Original paintings created by hand in either beeswax paint (encaustic) or acrylic. For acrylic, I use the highest quality Golden Paints and an assortment of palette knives to create colorful, vibrant texture. I use cradled board or hand-stretched canvas, using heavy cotton canvas and multiple layers of gesso. Each painting is cured 72 hours after completing, then varnished with UVLS varnish.
